Centralizers

Casing Centralizers for Every Well, Every Condition

Complete portfolio of bow-spring, rigid, solid and specialty centralizers for reliable casing centralization and cement integrity.

From straightforward vertical wells to highly deviated and horizontal sections, effective casing centralization is critical to cement placement, zonal isolation and long-term well integrity. We supply the full range of centralizer models used across the industry, engineered to perform in today’s most demanding applications.

Why Centralization Matters

Poor stand-off leads to channelling, micro-annuli and costly remedial work. The right centralizer, properly selected and placed, helps to:

  • Maintain uniform stand-off between casing and borehole

  • Improve cement coverage and displacement efficiency

  • Reduce drag, hook-load and running risks

  • Minimise differential sticking and casing wear

  • Support long-term zonal isolation and well integrity

Our portfolio covers all major centralizer technologies, allowing us to tailor the solution to hole conditions, casing size and operational constraints.

Our Centralizer Portfolio

Bow-Spring Centralizers

Designed to provide high restoring force with low running friction, bow-spring centralizers are the workhorse of primary cementing.

Single-Piece Non-Weld Bow-Spring Centralizers

  • One-piece construction for maximum structural integrity

  • No welds between bows and collars – removes traditional weak points

  • High restoring force for challenging washouts and doglegs

  • Suitable for vertical, deviated and horizontal applications

Hinged Bow-Spring Centralizers (Welded & Non-Welded)

  • Hinged design for easy installation on existing casing strings

  • Available in both welded and non-weld options

  • Ideal for surface, intermediate and production casing

  • Can be supplied pre-assembled or loose for on-site fitting

Spiral Blade Solid Body Centralizers

  • Helical bows promote fluid rotation and turbulence

  • Enhance mud removal and cement displacement in deviated wells

  • Help minimise channelling in washouts and enlarged sections

Rigid Centralizers

Rigid centralizers are preferred where clearance is limited, loads are high, or precise stand-off control is required.

Straight-Blade Steel Centralizers

  • Robust steel body with straight blades

  • Excellent wear resistance and impact strength

  • Commonly used in tight tolerance and liner hanger applications

Spiral-Blade Steel Centralizers

  • Spiral blades guide fluid flow around the casing

  • Improve mud removal and cement placement efficiency

  • Reduce risk of differential sticking and enhance hole cleaning

Aluminium Rigid Centralizers

  • Lightweight with good load-bearing capacity

  • Reduce drag and mitigate casing wear in ERD and long horizontal wells

  • Often selected for offshore and deep-water operations

Non-Metallic / Composite Rigid Centralizers

  • Made from high-strength, corrosion-resistant composites

  • Lower friction coefficient than steel or aluminium

  • Ideal for highly deviated wells and formations prone to casing wear

Specialty Centralizers

For complex geometries, tight restrictions or highly specific applications, we offer a range of specialty designs.

Stop Collars & Centralizer Accessories

  • Set-screw, hinged and non-weld stop collars

  • Locking mechanisms designed for high-load and high-temperature wells

  • Complete accessory range to secure and position centralizers accurately

Engineered to Industry Standards

All centralizer models can be supplied and qualified in line with relevant industry standards and customer specifications, including:

  • Testing of starting force, running force and restoring force

  • Verification across applicable hole sizes and clearances

  • Material and coating options for HPHT, corrosive and abrasive environments

Our engineering team works with your well design, torque & drag and centralization modelling to ensure the selected centralizer solution supports your objectives.

Sizes, Customisation & Availability

  • Standard sizes cover casing and liner from 2 7/8” to 20" (larger sizes on request)

  • Bow heights, blade profiles and materials can be tailored to your well programme

If your application demands something outside standard ranges, we can collaborate on a custom design to match your hole geometry and operational constraints.

Work With Us

Whether you need a standard bow-spring solution for vertical wells or a fully engineered package for extended-reach horizontals, we can specify and supply the right mix of centralizer technologies.

Tell us about your well:

  • Casing / liner size and grade

  • Hole size and trajectory

  • Key challenges (tight clearance, high dogleg, high temperature, etc.)

We’ll recommend a centralizer package that balances restoring force, drag, cost and risk, and integrates seamlessly into your overall cementing design.
